Though most visitors to the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum in Campo, CA do so with their families by car, it is not uncommon to find a few motorcycles in the parking lot. California Highway 94, stretching from San Diego, through Jamul, Dulzura, and Campo to Interstate 8 in Jacumba, is one of the most well-traveled roads in the area for motorcyclists to enjoy riding through the beautiful East County mountain terrain. Pictured here, several BMW motorcycle enthusiasts take a break from their journey to wait for Golden State train #12 to cross Highway 94 in Campo. Thanks to museum member Randy Houk for a unique picture of people enjoying two modes of transportation – train and motorcycle.
